FTB presentation

imageHere’s the handout version of the full presentation made by consultant Michael Friedman of FTB to the March 1 joint meeting of the City Council and Planning Commission. The file includes lots of great images, coverage of the process and its recommendations, illustrations, and maps, but it’s a large download - 16 Mb and 134 pages - but worth it if you’re following the process.

Street design presentation

imageNeed the full-sized version of work to-date? The item below links to the presentation made at the January 16 workshop by counsultants FTB and Glatting-Jackson. There’s 154 pages here - including map slides, lots of before and after shots from around the country, and graphics illustrating the process from its start last year to the phased, long-range plan completion.  (6.8 Mb, Acrobat® file)

Street design summary

imageHere’s a copy of a presentation-style summary of findings from the street design portion of the workshop. Includes section-by-section maps of the various district areas proposed for the corridor, with representative photos of what participants liked and disliked - and hope to see for Sprague/Appleway. It’s a 54-page file, but worth the download time, and a better summary of the work than the “Street Design Presentation” document posted here.

Street design presentation

The item below links to a copy of a slide presentation made at the January 16 corridor meeting, entitled “Street Design Character: Greatest Hits”, covering preferences expressed at the November 30 workshop on street configurations, amenities and overall corridor design. It’s a fairly large 38-page file, so slower connections may take several minutes to download.
